UIEE is headquartered in Eswatini with permanent offices in Lusaka and Cape Town. Each anchor city carries a deliberate role in the institute's mandate.
Eswatini was chosen as UIEE's headquarters with deliberation. As a sovereign African kingdom inside SADC, dignified, neutral and historically anchored, it provides the symbolic ground for an institution that belongs to Africa rather than to any single capital. All doctoral defences, the UIEE Honours, and the founding programmes are anchored here.
Lusaka anchors UIEE in the resource and capital corridor of central Africa. From here we run programmes on sovereign capital, extractive governance and the Copperbelt's frontier operations.
Cape Town is UIEE's window to global capital markets and statecraft. It hosts the most strategy- and policy-intensive programmes, and welcomes our international alumni and partner faculty.
